East Austin is my favorite part of town: the food, nightlife, food trucks, restaurants and hipster vibes make me feel like I’m right at home and keeps me coming back for more! Austin has become one of the biggest food mecca’s in the country, with lots of choices and restaurants to choose from… so I decided to put together The Ultimate Guide of Where to Eat in East Austin to help get you around my favorite side of the 512.

Il Brutto, an authetnic, Italian neighborhood restaurant, continues to be one of my favorite places in town! Pictured above is the Brunch Pizza: pork sausage, roasted peppers, red onion, mozzarella, fried egg and thyme. Make sure to dine on the patio while you’re there – so fun!

AH SING DEN
Cocktails, weekend brunch, dinner and late night – Ah Sing Den is one of the cutest spaces on the East side and a really fun time. Check out the Secret Garden in the back!

Suerte is one of the newest Mexican-inspired restaurants in town! With national recognition by the New York Times and Eater as the Best New Restaurant in America in 2018, I highly recommend going here for brunch or dinner. You won’t regret it.
