24 Hours in Georgetown, Texas
This post is sponsored by Visit Georgetown. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Georgetown, Texas, just 25 miles North of Austin is home of “The Most Beautiful Town Square in Texas” and is a great day trip for anyone wanting to get that small-town feel near a big city and experience some good food, with good people and some good views.
Things to Do in Georgetown, Texas
9AM – grab coffee at Lamppost Coffee
You guys know I am a big fan of iced coffee (read my Where to Go for Iced Coffee in Austin blog post) and it was no surprise that I had to get some iced coffee to start my day.

10AM – explore the Farmers Market
There was so much to do at the Farmers Market! With local, Texas vendors selling things from hot sauce to local art to men and women’s clothing – you can find it all at the Georgetown Farmers Market. You will also find various food trucks, live music and you can even walk around with an alcoholic beverage while you shop!

11AM – farm to table lunch at Greenhouse Craft Food
I’m not sure if I was extra hungry that day, but this farm to table restaurant was SO good – order the queso and the brisket tacos!

12PM – wine tasting at Grape Creek Vineyards
BRB, officially becoming a member of the Grape Creek Vineyards! I did a wine tasting and had such a blast learning about these wines… who knew I was such a sweet, red person?

1PM – tour Inner Space Caverns
4PM – grab a pastry at Galaxy Bakery
This local bakery had some huge sweet treats, if you guys saw my Instagram Stories you remember how big these cookies were in real life. I originally went in to get the brownie (super popular apparently) but when I got there it was sold out (sigh)… looks like I have to go back!

430PM – shop and explore downtown

630PM – dinner and margaritas at El Monumento
My friend Connor and I ended the night with some Mexican food at El Monumento. I had the enchiladas, chips and queso and a margarita to end my trip.
